Our stay at Makutano Kivu Resort exceeded all expectations! The lakefront location is absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to views of Lake Kivu every morning was magical. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special - they arranged a surprise sunset dinner by the lake that we'll never forget. The rooms are immaculate, the food is outstanding, and the peaceful atmosphere is exactly what we needed. We've traveled extensively across Africa, and this ranks among our top experiences. Can't wait to return!

Perfect for a family weekend getaway! The kids loved swimming in the lake and the staff were incredibly patient and friendly with them. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and great value for money. The location near Gisenyi makes it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend!

Un endroit magnifique! The sunset boat cruise was absolutely spectacular. The resort has a peaceful, relaxing vibe and the restaurant serves excellent food - both local Rwandan dishes and international options. WiFi was reliable for work, and the staff helped arrange all our tours. Merci beaucoup!
Best resort in Rubavu! Beautiful property, spotlessly clean, and the staff are wonderful. The lake view from our room was incredible. Perfect place to unwind.
